Depression

Depression can feel heavy, isolating, and at times, difficult to explain—even to the people closest to you. I work with clients experiencing various types of depressive disorders. If you’re feeling stuck, exhausted, or disconnected from yourself and others, you’re not alone. Depression isn’t just about sadness; it can show up as numbness, feeling tired, irritability, burnout, or a sense that you’re just going through the motions.

In our work together, I offer a supportive and nonjudgmental space to help you better understand what you’re feeling and why. My approach is both compassionate and practical. We’ll explore the underlying patterns, life stressors, and doubt labels contributing to your experience—and begin building realistic, sustainable steps forward.

Using evidence-based tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, we’ll work on shifting unhelpful thought patterns, developing coping strategies, and reconnecting you with your strengths and values. While we may look to the past for insight, our focus will stay grounded in your present and the life you want to create.

Most importantly, I believe in your capacity to heal. Together, we’ll work toward restoring your energy, your sense of self and your hope.

Anxiety

Generalized anxiety can show up in many ways—constant worry, overthinking, spiraling, difficulty sleeping, feeling on edge, or a sense that you’re never quite doing enough. It can feel like your mind is always running, even when your body is exhausted. If you’re feeling overwhelmed or stuck in a cycle of fear and pressure, you’re not alone—and support is possible.

My approach to anxiety is grounding, compassionate, and practical. I help clients slow down and make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface—what the anxiety is trying to protect, what’s been triggering it, and how it might be showing up in their thoughts, relationships, or body. Together, we’ll learn to recognize your patterns without judgment and begin developing strategies to interrupt them.

Using tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, we’ll work on reducing the power of anxious thoughts and building emotional resilience. We’ll focus not just on managing symptoms, but on helping you feel more in control and grounded in your day-to-day life. With the right support, you can move forward with greater ease, purpose, and peace.

Choosing to get help is a powerful step—it means you’re honoring your wellbeing and taking an active role in your healing. Depression and anxiety are treatable, and you don’t have to face them alone.

Trauma

I help clients heal from trauma by teaching them to regulate their nervous system, develop self-compassion, and begin to see themselves as more than what happened to them. Trauma is the emotional and physiological response to an event or series of events that overwhelm an individual’s ability to cope, leaving a lasting impact on their sense of safety, identity, and ability to regulate emotions. In therapy, we work to gently interrupt those patterns, create safety from within, and shift from surviving to truly living. You are not broken—you’re responding in very human ways to what you’ve experienced. Together, we’ll build tools to support healing, empowerment, and reclaiming your story.

Grief and Loss

Grief is a human experience to be honored. Whether you’re grieving the loss of a loved one, a relationship, or a chapter of life that’s ended, loss can feel disorienting, overwhelming, and deeply personal. There is no right way to grieve, and no timeline for healing. It is important to lean into grief and allow space for comfort, including your support systems. For clients who are experiencing the loss of a loved one, I provide support as you move from remembering with pain to remembering with love.

In our work together, I offer a safe, supportive space to help you process your emotions at your own pace. My approach is compassionate, steady, and practical—we’ll hold space for your pain. Together, we’ll explore what this loss means to you, how it’s affecting your day-to-day life, and how you can begin to move forward with care and intention.

Using evidence-based tools and a holistic lens, we’ll focus on emotional processing, self-compassion, finding support, and strengthening your ability to cope. You’ll learn how to navigate waves of grief while still staying connected to yourself and the things that give your life meaning.

You deserve a space where your sorrow is seen, your story is held, and your healing is honored.

Supporting & Developing Leaders

As a woman who has experience balancing leadership roles with the demands of family life, I understand the unique pressures that come with trying to show up in many spaces. Whether it’s the mental load of caregiving, the stress of professional responsibilities, or the quiet struggle of feeling stretched thin—these challenges are real and often invisible. I’m especially passionate about supporting women who are juggling multiple roles and feeling the weight of expectation, perfectionism, or burnout. In our work together, we’ll create space for you to breathe, reflect, and realign—with compassion, practical tools and a focus on what truly matters to you.

Stepping into a leadership role—whether it’s at work, in your community, or even within your own family—can be both exciting and overwhelming. For many women, especially those who are first-generation leaders or navigating cultural and family expectations, this shift can bring up questions around confidence, boundaries and identity.

I’m passionate about supporting women in these pivotal moments. In our work together, we’ll explore what leadership looks like for you, how to manage the internal and external pressures that come with it, and how to lead from a place of authenticity. Whether you’re managing people for the first time, making tough decisions, or simply learning to trust your own voice—we’ll create space for you to grow in your role.

Navigating Relationships and Boundaries

I believe that true connection happens when we are honest about our needs while honoring the dignity of others. My role is to hold space for people to develop the courage and language needed to protect what matters most, cultivate mutual respect, and build relationships rooted in freedom and truth. I support clients in clarifying what belongs to them—their feelings, choices, values, and responsibilities—and learning how to communicate these truths with courage and compassion. Whether we’re addressing relationship dynamics, cultural expectations, I help clients discern where their “yes” and “no” are rooted, and how to express them in ways that foster respect and connection. My goal is to empower clients to let go of guilt, show up authentically, and build relationships that honor both self and others.

Leadership isn’t about knowing all the answers—
it’s about being willing to learn, listen, and lead with authenticity.

Faith Based Counseling

As a woman of faith, I understand how deeply spiritual beliefs can shape the way you see yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. For many Christian women, faith is a source of strength and purpose—but it can also intersect with challenges like guilt, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or difficulty setting boundaries. I’m passionate about equipping you to win the battle within!

I have a special interest in walking alongside Christian women who are seeking emotional healing and spiritual growth. Whether you’re navigating grief, depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, or questions around identity and calling, I offer a space where your values and beliefs are honored.

In our work together, we’ll integrate sound clinical practices with your faith as much as you choose. If you’re longing for a place to lay down the pressure and reconnect with your true self—and your faith—I’d be honored to walk that journey with you. While working with Christian women is an area of interest and specialization, I work with clients from various faith backgrounds.
