Rates & Payments
Eligibility
Services are provided to clients who are physically located in Washington, DC at the time of each telehealth session.

Appointments require 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice, or missed sessions, will be billed at $150.
Private Pay
Clients without in-network coverage may elect to self-pay:
- Initial intake session: $200
- 45-minute therapy session: $175
Payment is due at the time of service. Accepted methods include credit/debit cards and HSA/FSA cards.
Insurance
I am an in-network provider for the following insurance plans:
- CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield
- Aetna
- UnitedHealthcare / Optum
- Quest Behavioral Health
- Cigna
For clients who are using most insurances, I use Headway as my platform for scheduling, insurance verification, and benefits confirmation. Clients can verify coverage directly through Headway. For clients with Cigna, I partner with Octave for scheduling, insurance verification, and benefits confirmation.
Out-of-Network Reimbursement
I have partnered with Thrizer to handle the out-of-network process automatically for you. With Thrizer, you will only have to pay a co-pay for our sessions after you have met your deductible. This typically allows clients to save on sessions. During our intake process, I can help you verify if you have out of network benefits, a deductible and how much your co-pay would be.
Good Faith Estimate Notice
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
- You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
